Guests from near and far will be flocking to this mega event on the city’s famous Theresienwiese. Traditional costume associations and folk music bands from all corners of Europe will be ringing in the first “Wiesn” Sunday with a grand parade. Be there when de parade moves from the Maximiliansstrasse to the Theresienwiese. Some Munich breweries even brew a special beer.
