Every January, Miami holds a big parade in honour of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The entire country celebrates the birthday of the acclaimed civil rights activist who fought with peaceful marches and protests against racial discrimination and segregation. In 1964, he received the Nobel Peace Prize. Everyone is familiar with his famous „I have a dream“ speech. Miami pays tribute to the courage of this exceptional man who spent his entire life fighting for his dream.
