Rowers from all over the world come to compete at the Head of the Charles Regatta. Since 1965, the Charles River has been the venue of the world’s largest two-day regatta. The best teams go head to head in a spectacular rowing contest on the banks of the Charles River. Although most crews hail from universities and rowing clubs from the US East Coast, foreign and even European boats are also represented. The ambiance is quite unique – be there when tens of thousands of spectators cheer on the athletes at the Head of the Charles Regatta.
