This around five-week-long summer festival is held around the Shinobazuno-Ike Pond in the centre of Ueno Park. Different events are held each day, among others an exhibition of ice sculpture and a paper lantern floating festival. The ‚variety parade‘ marks the pinnacle of Ueno Matsuri, and consists of several teams of dancers representing a wide variety of genres. From yosakoi to samba – a vibrant and vivid festival awaits you and your conference participants.
