Olympic gold medalists and world record holders gather here to provide spectators with sports at their highest level of performance. Dynamics, power and elegance distinguish the participating athletes – who are at the start of one of the most important track and field meetings in the world. Twenty-five world records have already been set here, and more are sure to come. The world’s athletic stars have been meeting for a track and field contest in Zurich for more than 80 years.
